
- Use the @ to talk to other people directly.
- Follow your your followers and find influencers who support/have interest in your organization.
- Remember that Twitter drives people to your main online sales tools: your website and/or blog
- On every component of your online mix (website, blog and social media networks), provide links to the other components.
- Be gracious. Ask for help when you need it and be thankful when you get it.
- Don’t split your supporters for different campaign or product lines. Have one Twitter account and push it with everything you’ve got.
- Create a custom graphic for your Twitter account that displays your name, website, and other social networking urls.
- Do a search on your name and your topics everyday and talk to people who are talking about them.





I’m always trying to figure out how to get more mileage out of my twitter efforts.
This is a good list of things that I can do a better job on.
Most specifically, I think I need to do a much better job of tying all of my online platforms together as you suggest, in order to get better leverage from my efforts
