Case Study: LOGiQ3
Branding
LOGiQ3 are a progressive, full service reinsurance consultant company. They came to Amalgam Design looking for some branding. They wanted something modern and unique. They wanted a look and feel that represented insurance but didn't use any business stereotypes. They didn't want anything typically "insurance".
We came up with the concept of water sports to represent their expertise. Just like they are experts on many levels of the industry, the water imagery worked on many levels. In some cases, they worked as a team with client departments to handle work overflow. In other cases, they simply tackled the impossible, making it look effortless. We loved the idea that the ocean was intimidating and unpredictable, yet the athletes in the images could handle anything it threw at them.
We created a print brochure using the new branding. The brochure focuses on all the service offerings and emphasizes the water theme. In a bold move, we used synchronized swimmers as the main image on the cover of the brochure. The result was anything but stereotypical.
LOGiQ3 also asked us for a print piece to use at their annual wine and cheese reception. They wanted something that would stand out, something that the guests would want to take away with them.
We came up with the idea of the "cootie catcher". This children's game made the guests smile and they had fun unfolding the brochure to read about the services hidden inside. We used simple images to represent growth.

We created a search engine optimized site for LOGiQ3 that beautifully integrates the new brand with the website design. Both beautiful and functional, this site is far outranking their old site and offers lots of room to expand with their business.
Today, they are on page one of Google for the majority of their keywords, in some cases they are the number 1 listing on page 1 of Google. Thank you, thank you very much.
